**Senior Financial Accountant Job Description**

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our organization as a Senior Financial Accountant. As a key member of the finance function, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and support for strategic financial planning.

">Key Responsibilities">
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the finance function.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, including management accounts, activity reports, and performance metrics.
  • Support the preparation of annual financial statements and liaise with external auditors.
  • Manage cash flow forecasting, banking, and treasury functions.
  • Review and enhance internal financial controls and procedures.
  • Collaborate with ICT on finance system upgrades and implementations.
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
  • Contribute to risk management and quality assurance frameworks.

Requirements

">
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 to 4 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in financial systems and MS Excel.
  • Previous experience in Public Sector highly advantageous.
