Design Engineer for Heat Pump Systems

Core technologies include solar PV, battery energy storage, and high-temperature heat pump systems.
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team, who will play a key role in designing and integrating advanced heat pump systems tailored to client processes. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with process piping, thermal systems, and relevant equipment selection, as well as excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, and will have proven ability to lead engineering design teams. Additionally, you will have a valid full driver's license and be motivated to contribute to the decarbonisation and clean energy transition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse client thermal infrastructure and develop tailored solutions.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of heat pumps and thermal systems to maximise client value.
- Perform engineering design work including energy balances and performance predictions.
- Attend client and project meetings, contributing technical expertise.
