About the TAILWARDS Project:
The TAILWARDS project is a collaboration between Teagasc, Animal Health Ireland, and the Irish Farmers Association (IFA). The project aims to promote the welfare of pigs by encouraging farmers to adopt best practice in animal health and welfare. As an Innovation Broker for this project, you will play a key role in promoting the project's objectives and ensuring its success.

Your Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Leading and working as an Innovation Broker for the PRRS eradication/control task
  • Contributing to other tasks of the project, such as overstocking feedback
  • Arranging meetings, reviewing and updating materials, minute-taking, developing reports, writing newsletters and articles
  • Providing technical information and support to veterinarians and farmers

What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary range of €45,000 - €60,000 depending on experience (pro-rata for part-time) and a dynamic work environment that values innovation, teamwork, and continuous learning.
