This is an exciting opportunity to lead a production team in a strategic spray-drying facility. As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing shift operations to achieve key business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a management or supervisory role in the food manufacturing industry and possess strong leadership skills. They will also have a proactive mind-set, strong work ethic, and be able to motivate a diverse team of employees.
A third-level qualification in a related field is desirable, as well as experience with SAP/MES/scada systems. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are essential for this role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the shift team to achieve production targets and maintaining excellent standards of product quality, integrity, and hygiene. They will also cover for the Production Manager when absent and support the manager in other areas of production.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in a management or supervisory role in the food manufacturing industry
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proactive mind-set and strong work ethic
- Ability to motivate a diverse team of employees
- Third-level qualification in a related field (desirable)
