Information Security Specialist

The goal of this role is to ensure the highest levels of security are maintained across all information systems. To achieve this, you will oversee the cybersecurity strategy and governance by establishing and maintaining information security frameworks, policies, procedures, and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead the cybersecurity programme, ensuring that all necessary and appropriate security measures are developed and in place to protect infrastructure and applications.
- Manage the development and support of network and security infrastructures that support enterprise-grade business infrastructure.
- Oversee the selection, implementation, and management of cybersecurity technologies throughout the organization.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and standards among external managed service providers.
- Lead incident response and breach management efforts, including ransomware attacks, malware attacks, phishing attempts, etc.
- Proven experience and expertise across a range of cybersecurity areas, including policy development, risk management, information security tools, and governance.
- Working technical ability to evaluate and mitigate cybersecurity risks in contemporary IT systems.
- Experience leading, managing, and developing a team, as well as driving ICT/Cybersecurity/Digital-enabled transformational change.
