About the Role

This part-time role involves serving customers, merchandising stock, and working as part of a team. We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude, works well as part of a team, and is open to learning and expanding their skill set.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Will have a GCSE Maths and English, Grade C or above (or equivalent) and/or 6 months previous experience gained in a retail or customer service role.
  • Will have previous experience of working in a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serving customers via manned or self-scan checkouts while providing excellent customer service.
  • Merchandising, ordering, date checking, and rotation of stock in all areas of the store including fresh, ambient, and frozen.
  • Adhering to company and health and safety policies and procedures to protect themselves, customers, colleagues, and third parties.
  • Ensuring a high standard of work in everything they do.
  • Stock take preparation and counting as and when required.
  • Ensuring opening/closing procedures are adhered to.
