Development Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Development Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure development group, you will play a vital role in delivering innovative and cost-effective solutions to complex engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects, including design and development of storm and foul drainage networks for residential, industrial, and commercial applications.
  • Drafting design drawings, including 3D applications, report writing, site inspections, and supervision of CAD technicians.
  • Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Working towards becoming a Chartered Engineer.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software models, such as Microdrainage, and knowledge of Flood risk assessments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous experience in design roles, particularly in Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems, Storm and foul gravity collection networks, and Package wastewater treatment systems.
  • Familiarity with Road and Pavement design, drainage planning requirements, and AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3d, Revit, or similar drafting and BIM packages.
