You will be part of a team that provides long-term careers and opportunities for training and progression to the right candidates. If you love working as part of a team and want the chance to help us innovate engineering of the future, then this is the apprenticeship for you.

What to Expect:
This is a 4-year Apprenticeship leading to a QQI Level 6 qualification as an Electrician. We will register the Apprenticeship with Solas and support all of the Solas training requirements for the successful candidate. We provide all necessary tools, personal protective equipment, and training.

Job Requirements:
While there is no previous experience needed for this role, the right candidate will be reliable, fully committed to the 4-year Apprenticeship programme, have a positive attitude with strong attention to detail, be willing to learn at all times, and be flexible in their approach to work. They should also align with our Core Values of Responsibility, Ambition, Passion for food, and Teamwork.

Duties:
  • Carry out effective Planned Preventative Maintenance as directed.
  • Perform maintenance and rectification works following audits, inspections, and production reports.
  • Make continual improvements to plant and equipment to reduce repeat common point failures and improve site efficiencies.
