We are seeking a skilled Tax Delivery Lead to manage the planning and delivery of tax processes and controls for the submission of tax returns within Revenue deadlines. This includes ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of tax returns and filing, as assigned in the tax delivery plan, in accordance with tax legislation and internal governance processes.
The role involves leading cross-training in tax processes and controls across the team to enable flexibility and scheduling of responsibilities accordingly. It also involves assisting the Tax Manager in engagement with external tax authorities and consultants as required.
The successful candidate will be able to prioritize tasks, manage and deliver high-quality work within timelines, and manage resources while remaining focused on and aligned to team goals and objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the planning and delivery of tax processes and controls
- Ensure efficient and effective delivery of tax returns and filing
- Lead cross-training in tax processes and controls
- Assist Tax Manager in engagement with external tax authorities and consultants
The ideal candidate will have relevant third-level education, professional qualification in Tax, and extensive knowledge of Irish tax legislation and experience of dealing with the Irish tax authorities.
They should also possess strong analytical skills, ability to identify and analyze problems and potential improvements, and propose and implement solutions.
