Christmas Ambassador

We welcome applications for a Christmas Event Assistant to join our team at Johnstown Castle.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with families and children, creating magical moments through storytelling and conversations.

As Santa Claus, you will be responsible for posing for photos, listening attentively to children's wishes, and working alongside event staff to ensure a smooth visitor experience.

To succeed in this role, you must be warm, approachable, and confident engaging with children and families. You should also be reliable, flexible, and comfortable in a lively festive environment.

Key responsibilities include staying in character with enthusiasm throughout each shift, wearing a Santa costume, beard, and boots (costume provided), and contributing to the creation of lasting festive memories for families this Christmas.

• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with visitors and colleagues alike.

We provide full training, including character guidance and costume support, to ensure you feel confident and prepared for your role.
