As a Data Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to evaluate their needs and translate these into clearly defined milestones that drive delivery and impact.
- Provide ongoing technical guidance to peers and direct reports
- Lead teams and set best practice and standards
- Apply knowledge of systems integration to their work
- Champion data engineering across the organization
- Manage stakeholder engagement and expectations
- Collaborate across teams to ensure progress against milestones is tracked and reported
- 5+ years' experience in a relevant area with knowledge of the software development lifecycle and IT change management
- Data management, analytical, and reporting skills - Extensive database experience preferably on Teradata or other Databases
- Experience in managing complex scheduled batch processes within an Enterprise Scheduler
- Effective communication skills with a proven record of accomplishment of articulating complex concepts/results in simple language
- Experience of leading a team
