Electrical Control Panel Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design and development of electrical control panel solutions for automation systems used across a wide range of industries.

Key responsibilities include developing 2D & 3D electrical designs for complex automation projects, detailing electrical schematics and processes for build, generating budget and detailed quotations for panels and installations, sourcing electrical components for designs, creating test plans and documentation packs for developed electrical designs, assisting in electrical debug of systems, liaising with customers & suppliers, meeting project delivery deadlines, and working independently to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

The ideal candidate will possess a third-level qualification in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Science or a qualified electrician with relevant industrial design experience. They will also have familiarity with electrical controls, AC/DC motors, servo motors, invertors, general panel equipment, drives and pneumatics, as well as experience using software packages such as Eplan P8, Eplan Pro Panel, AutoCAD Electrical.

Ambitious, confident and professional individual with strong communication and organisational skills is required. The ability to take ownership of projects, work effectively in a team environment and meet project delivery deadlines is essential.
