Financial Services Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our expanding accountancy practice in County Down. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounts preparation, VAT returns, and bookkeeping using cloud-based software.
The ideal candidate will be proficient with accounting packages, have excellent communication skills, and be able to manage a busy workload. They will also possess a keen eye for detail and be able to liaise with clients across various sectors.
Main duties include:
- Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Managing and working closely with a portfolio of clients
- Preparing VAT returns and HMRC duties
- Bookkeeping using cloud-based software
- Preparing personal tax returns and corporation tax computations
The successful candidate will be fully qualified or qualified by experience and have previous relevant experience in a small to medium-sized practice environment.
