Senior Operations Manager Role

  • As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and production of our Factory. You will drive strategic initiatives to ensure overall business success.">

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee daily business operations, drive strategic initiatives and ensure overall business success.">
  2. Develop and implement business strategies to support growth and business excellence.">
  3. Lead the operations, engineering/quality, procurement and administration functions.">
  4. Manage the operations department to highest standards to satisfy customer expectation and on-time delivery.">
  5. Ensure optimum performance of HR, hiring and training processes.">
  6. Build relationships with key customers in diverse markets.">
  7. Set objectives and improve systems and procedures.">
  8. In association with finance, manage budgets and assist in design of improvements to optimise financial performance and operational effectiveness and efficiency.">
  9. Work in close collaboration with the sales/account management functions and the customer to delivery total customer satisfaction.">
  10. Build, develop and lead a management team and staff capable of carrying out organisational objectives to the highest standards.">
  11. Assume responsibility for health and safety standards throughout the organisation.">
  12. Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for new business.">
  13. Develop, promote and implement on-going continuous improvement initiatives.">

Qualifications and Experience:

  • ">">
  • Proven experience at a management level within manufacturing and engineering.">
  • In-depth knowledge of machining and fabrication or related production processes desirable.">
  • Relevant third level qualification desirable.">
  • Excellent leadership skills including goal setting, motivating, training and mentorship.">
  • Performance focused with strong budgeting and reporting capabilities.">
  • Leadership and people development skills.">
