Job Description

The Senior Proposal Development Specialist is responsible for developing, managing, and submitting competitive proposals for engineering projects. This role requires extensive collaboration with various departments to gather essential information, analyze project needs, and create cost-effective solutions that align with client requirements and industry standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and understand the technical and commercial aspects of tender documents.
  • Coordinate with sales, design, production, and planning teams to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Assemble and compile necessary documents, drawings, calculations, and cost estimates for submission, reflecting customer requirements and the company's expertise.
  • Ensure all tenders comply with contractual and regulatory standards.
Cost Analysis
  • Create detailed cost estimates based on project specifications, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracting expenses.
  • Assess the project's financial and manufacturing feasibility.
  • Identify potential commercial and technical risks and collaborate on cost-effective solutions.
Collaboration and Communication
  • Work with various departments (engineering, procurement, project management) to gather precise and current information.
  • Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain necessary information and clarifications.
  • Attend pre-tender meetings and site visits as needed.
  • Provide a detailed handover of winning tenders to the Customer Service Team, highlighting milestones, risks, and any non-standard aspects.
