About This Job

This position involves serving customers and maintaining the quality of food on offer.

Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold dishes to high standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation at all times.
  • Evaluate each dish for freshness and presentation before it is served.
  • Use kitchen equipment with care and attention to safety protocols.
Requirements
  1. Friendly demeanor and effective communication skills are essential.
  2. Apart from being able to work in a team, you must be comfortable dealing directly with customers and can handle their queries efficiently.
  3. You should have good time management skills and be organised enough to keep track of stock levels and other tasks assigned.
  4. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will be valuable assets in this role.
Desirable Skills
  • Prior experience working in a deli or similar environment would be advantageous.
  • HACCP certification or willingness to undergo training in this area is also desirable.
