Leading a team of accountants as an Audit and Accounts professional involves working closely with clients to deliver high-quality services.

The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Create comprehensive audit strategies for various industries, identifying risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports that meet auditing standards and regulations, presenting findings to senior management and clients.
  • Manage financial statements in accordance with Irish GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards, providing insightful data analysis to clients.
  • Assist clients in preparing management accounts, budgets, and forecasts, offering expert advice on accounting and financial reporting issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for audit and accounting queries.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, such as Finance.
  • Professional certifications like ACA, ACCA, or CPA are advantageous.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in audit and/or accounting within practice.
  • Proficiency in audit software and accounting systems, including CaseWare and Sage.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and clients.
