Job Title: Senior Water and Wastewater Engineer

At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Water and Wastewater Engineer to play a vital role in delivering and developing public water and wastewater services across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Site Assessments: Visit non-standard new connection sites, perform thorough assessments, and create work orders for connections within designated regions.
  • Oversee Connection Requests: Collaborate with Local Authorities and relevant parties to deliver connection services for customers, ensuring seamless network integration.
  • Support Network Reinforcement Schemes: Work closely with counterparts from Capital Delivery, Local Authorities, or third-party service providers to drive connection-related network reinforcement schemes.
  • Deliver Excellent Customer Experience: Provide exceptional support throughout the end-to-end connection process, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements
  • A unique blend of technical expertise, regulatory awareness, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • A relevant third-level qualification in civil engineering.
  • An understanding of planning applications and connection regulations.
  • Familiarity with GIS systems, asset data management, and field inspection protocols.
