We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team in Clonmel, Ireland.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, family-centered care to children and young people with diverse disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and develop individualized intervention plans for children with complex needs, focusing on enhancing their functional abilities and participation in daily activities.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to care, working closely with families and caregivers to facilitate their child's development and participation in home and community settings.
- Provide education, training, and support to families and caregivers, empowering them to facilitate their child's development and participation in home and community settings.
- Mentor and supervise junior occupational therapists and therapy assistants, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative learning environment.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative therapeutic programs and services that address the evolving needs of children with disabilities.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports in accordance with professional and organizational standards.
- A BSc in Occupational Therapy or an equivalent CORU registered Occupational Therapy qualification.
- Be CORU registered.
- Full Clean Driving License with use of a car.
