Job Overview

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of our technical documentation strategy, introducing best practices for creating, storing, and managing product documentation.
  • Produce high-quality documentation that meets the needs of our customers and internal stakeholders, including user guides, product manuals, and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation, and to identify areas for improvement in the documentation process.
  • Manage and maintain documentation repositories, ensuring documentation is well-organized and easily accessible.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to improve our documentation and processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role in a software engineering environment, creating technical documentation, user guides, and other product material.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Technical Writing, Technical Communications, or a related field, or engineering degrees with excellent English writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to work independently, and willingness to take ownership of work.
  • Ability to build rapport with cross-functional and cross-departmental teams.
  • Familiarity with Confluence, SharePoint, OpenAPI/Swagger, UML/BPMN, and AI tools like Microsoft Co-pilot.
