The Senior Financial Accountant will play a key role in managing the finance and accounting functions of our business. This includes managing day-to-day finance and accounting operations, ensuring all statutory, tax and other compliance returns are completed on time and partnering with the Commercial Finance team on annual budgeting.

Our Team:

You will work closely with a team of 5, including the Financial Controller, to ensure the smooth operation of month-end and quarterly close processes. We also have a strong focus on process improvement and ad-hoc projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations
  • Manage the month-end and quarterly close processes to Group deadlines
  • Lead the preparation of annual financial statements, liaising with external auditors in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure all statutory, tax and other compliance returns are completed on time
  • Partner with Commercial Finance team on annual budgeting process
  • Get involved in process improvement and ad-hoc projects as required
Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 4 years' PQE. Industry experience in tech, SaaS or media is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and FRS102 essential
  • High level of attention to detail, analytical and organisation skills
  • Effective communicator who enjoys cross-collaboration
  • Ambitious, independent and adaptable worker with strong business acumen
  • Approachable team player
