Lead Tax Professional

Join a leader in the professional services sector for an urgent requirement of a lead tax professional to undertake a leadership role in the tax group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assume a leadership role in the tax team and assist in developing responses to tax policy initiatives of OECD, EU, Department of Finance and Revenue Commissioners.
  • Conclude on the firm's position on technical points.
  • Oversee the work of junior members of the team and direct their education and training.
  • Undertake high-level client work across corporate, M&A, securitisation, finance, real estate and disputes.
Requirements for the Role:
  • 6+ years relevant post-qualification experience (in accountancy).
  • Excellent technical knowledge.
  • Strong advisory and client relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication/presentation/project management/time management skills.
  • Positive attitude with ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Mentoring skills.
