Job Role: Van Driver and Landscaper

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our dynamic team as a Van Driver/Landscaper.

About the Role:

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive company vans safely to and from worksites and depots, ensuring timely deliveries and collections.
  • Assist in a variety of landscaping tasks including lawn care, planting, hedge trimming, and garden maintenance, working closely with colleagues to achieve results.
  • Operate basic landscaping tools and equipment with training provided, developing your technical skills and confidence.
  • Support general site maintenance and keep work areas tidy and safe, adhering to health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
  • Work well within a team and take initiative when working independently, communicating effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Support depot operations and carry out general duties as needed, contributing to the smooth running of our business.

Requirements:

  • A valid Full B driving license with a minimum of 6 months' driving experience preferred, but training and support will be provided for the right candidate.
  • No prior landscaping or driving experience necessary – full training provided.
  • A willingness to learn and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
  • An ability to work flexible hours, including occasional on-call shifts, and adapt to changing circumstances.

Working Hours:

  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Standard Shifts: Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 15:30, Friday: 06:00 – 14:30.
  • Availability for on-call work outside of standard hours is required, ensuring our business runs smoothly and efficiently.
