Dromoland Castle Hotel, one of Ireland's most prestigious five-star hotels, is recruiting Full Time and Part Time Evening Turn Down Assistants to join its accommodation team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be part of a diverse team delivering and maintaining 5-star accommodation standards. Key responsibilities include ensuring the smooth and professional cleaning and servicing of premises, including bedrooms, bathrooms, corridors, public areas, and toilets, presenting a clean, fresh, and friendly environment to the highest standards while ensuring guest satisfaction.

Working schedule: Monday to Sunday, 5 over 7 evenings (20 hours), including weekend work. Reporting to Accommodation Supervisors and Managers, you will be responsible for providing a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere in Guest Bedrooms by servicing Rooms and performing Evening Turn down Service.

This includes preparing rooms for evening occupation, ensuring cleanliness, replenishing amenities, and creating a pleasant and inviting environment for guests. Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail are essential for this role.

Requirements

Must have previous experience working in a similar environment. Ideal candidate will have a natural yes-I-can attitude. Strong organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail. Must be well-organised and have a high level of service standards, ability to work under pressure, and an ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a team.

A friendly, chatty, and outgoing personality, high level of verbal and written English required.
