Software Engineer

This is a challenging role that requires building and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and resilient distributed systems on cloud.

You will work closely with internal customers to understand their requirements and workflows, and propose new features and ecosystem changes to streamline their experience of using the solutions on our platform.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of innovative technologies and cloud data platforms, as well as the ability to independently learn new technologies and contribute to the success of various initiatives.

  1. Experience building enterprise-level data applications on distributed systems.
  2. Knowledge of BI concepts and implementation experience on Cloud with databases like Snowflake or Big Query.
  3. Programming experience in building high-quality software with at-least one of the following programming languages - Python, Scala or Java.
  4. Experience in developing highly optimized SQLs, procedures & semantic process for distributed data applications.
  5. Familiarity with foundational concepts in Generative AI (e.g., Large Language Models, prompt engineering).
  6. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Required Skills:

  • Enterprise Data Engineering - Experience building enterprise-level data applications on distributed systems.
  • Business Intelligence - Knowledge of BI concepts and implementation experience on Cloud with databases like Snowflake or Big Query.
  • Programming - Programming experience in building high-quality software with at-least one of the following programming languages - Python, Scala or Java.
  • Data Optimization - Experience in developing highly optimized SQLs, procedures & semantic process for distributed data applications.
  • Generative AI - Familiarity with foundational concepts in Generative AI (e.g., Large Language Models, prompt engineering).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Hands-on experience in designing and development of cloud-based applications that include compute services, database services, APIs to design RESTful services, ETL, queues and notification services.
  2. Experience in cloud data warehousing platforms like Snowflake is highly valued.
  3. Experience developing Big Data applications using Java, Spark, Kafka is a huge plus.
  4. Data Visualization Tools: experience in software such as Streamlit, Superset, Tableau, Business Objects, and Looker.
  5. Data Insights and KPIs: Working experience on generating and visualizing data insights, metrics, and KPIs. Usage of GenIA , basic ML models in the area of anomaly detection, forecasting).

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
