Financial Analyst Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our research team. As an analyst, you will partner with senior analysts and traders to identify investment opportunities in the equity or options market.

Your responsibilities will include providing real-time opinions on breaking news, analyzing upcoming volatility events, forecasting dividends, and evaluating special situations such as mergers and acquisitions. You will also collaborate with derivative traders on investment ideas and perform stock valuation analysis.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong written, analytical, and financial research skills, as well as a demonstrable interest in macroeconomic environment and political events. You should be able to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and have familiarity with a trading environment and derivative products. We are looking for a self-starter who is quick to learn, an effective communicator, and resourceful in solving problems.

Requirements
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
  • 3 years' + experience in financial markets or progress towards CFA qualification an advantage
  • Strong written, analytical, and financial research skills
  • Demonstrable interest in, and some knowledge of, macroeconomic environment and political events
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Familiarity with a trading environment and derivative products preferred
  • Must be a self-starter, a quick learner, an effective communicator, and resourceful in solving problems
