SSA Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Project Manager to lead a team of engineers in designing and delivering complex projects in Cork. This role involves project planning, coordination, and management, as well as ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Project planning and management
- Team leadership and coordination
- Preparation of design and contract documentation and specifications
- Design of electrical systems, including maximum demand calculations, cable sizing, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, ICT systems, security systems, and vertical transport
- Estimating and cost control on projects
- Compiling project reports
- Conceptual design studies and reports
- Mentoring and development of junior and intermediate engineers
Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Services engineering or Electrical Engineering
- 6+ years post-qualification design experience
- Chartered Engineer or en route to achieving chartership
- Experience in a wide range of projects
- Experience in mission-critical projects a distinct advantage
