Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled nurse leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care that meets the unique needs of each resident. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve outstanding resident outcomes and promote a culture of respect, empathy, and compassion within the care environment.

Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Create and implement individualised resident care plans that meet HIQA standards, best practices, and evidence-based research.
  • Provide comprehensive, person-centred care that promotes maximum independence and improves the quality of life for residents.
  • Maintain strong relationships with residents' families and guardians to ensure a collaborative approach.
  • Keep accurate and pertinent records and reports in compliance with regional regulations.
  • Respect residents' autonomy and consent while enabling and facilitating their care needs.
  • A valid license from the Irish Nursing and Midwifery Board.
  • A minimum of three years of experience as a nursing home staff nurse.
  • Ongoing professional growth and development.
  • Strong administrative skills, leadership abilities, and aptitude for the role.
