Job Summary:

The Planning Manager role involves leading and managing planning activities, including the site's monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process. This position requires close collaboration with site leadership to ensure capacity utilization and production scheduling aligns with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of planners
  • Maintain and enhance the site S&OP process
  • Ensure timely sharing of accurate supply information with all stakeholders
  • Monitor daily inventory levels against targets for DC SKUs
  • Evaluate and implement efficient scheduling that balances customer requirements with maximum production utilization
  • Continuously monitor established metrics to focus on customer satisfaction
Additional Accountabilities:
  • Liaise with Operations on backorder and low limit SKUs for prioritization
  • Collaborate closely with Site Ops, Freight, warehousing and distribution teams to maintain accurate planning parameters
  • Maintain Raw Materials Planning parameters in line with Master Production Schedule (MPS)
  • Regular liaison with Purchasing staff on demand and supply issues related to Raw Materials
  • Forecast lot profiles for Operations and Cartooning

The successful candidate will work closely with multiple stakeholders across the supply chain to align production prioritization, supply feedback loop, and Inventory targets with business objectives. A minimum of 5-8 years' experience in planning or supply chain management is required, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

This challenging role demands strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
