In this critical role, you will provide essential support to women affected by domestic abuse, helping them navigate the complexities of the system and access the resources they need to rebuild their lives.
About the Job Description:
- Deliver support services to women affected by domestic violence, including safety planning, accompaniment to appointments, and connection to community resources.
- Collaborate with the project team and other Amber services to ensure comprehensive support for women and children.
- Develop and implement evidence-based practices, staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in domestic violence response.
- Maintain accurate records and statistics, reporting regularly to the Management team.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between the client and various agencies, including law enforcement, healthcare providers, and social services.
- Provide education and awareness-raising activities to promote healthy relationships and prevent domestic violence.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other events to stay informed about organizational developments and best practices.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives, suggesting innovative solutions to improve service delivery and client outcomes.
