We are seeking a talented Regulatory Revenue Analyst to join our Group Regulation Team. As a key member of the team, you will provide valuable input into our regulatory revenue controls and processes, supporting the successful completion of business priorities.

The successful candidate will work closely with a team of experienced professionals, including economic, business, and commercially savvy experts. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and compiling price controls and other required revenue submissions.
  • Providing regulatory financial and economic input to the price controls for the business.
  • Preparing and delivering submissions to the Economic Regulator.
  • Supporting the wider finance team in the roll out and tracking of regulatory allowances across EirGrid Group.
  • Carrying out research on regulatory approaches elsewhere and their applicability to EirGrid Group.
  • Acting as a point of contact for financial models and modelling by reference to EirGrid's regulated businesses.
  • Assisting in shaping the regulatory strategy to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Supporting strategic internal and external stakeholder relationships, such as business functions and Regulatory Authorities.
Your Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree or other recognised qualification in business, economics, finance, or a closely related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Excellent qualitative and quantitative analytical abilities, coupled with the ability to make reasoned judgments based on available information.
  • Demonstrated ability to draft documentation in a rational, evidence-based, clear and concise manner.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with experience in data analysis.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, e.g., to express key economic concerns or new ideas clearly.
  • Knowledge of regulation/regulatory economics.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Financial and commercial awareness.
  • Demonstrated flexible working approach with ability to lead and prioritise a wide range of demands and activities whilst maintaining a professional and positive focus.
  • Proven ability to create and develop good working relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals, coupled with the ability to gain commitment from others.
