We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Site Manager to lead our engineering function on site. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely availability of construction information, overseeing the planning and execution of technical works, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure project plans and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the engineering function on site, including supervising construction sequencing and monitoring progress to ensure key milestones and deadlines are achieved.
- Implement and uphold health and safety practices, ensuring compliance with legislation, company standards, and best practice.
- Apply sound engineering principles to resolve challenges and contribute to design development, feasibility assessments, and value engineering.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to maintain a professional image.
Requirements:
- Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in residential and/or civil/groundworks projects.
- Proficiency in the use of total stations and other surveying equipment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivating and able to work as part of a team.
Benefits:
- Salary circa €55k-€65k depending on experience.
- Benefits package including comprehensive health insurance, pension scheme, and annual leave.
