Job Title: Neonatal Medical Leader

We are seeking a Consultant Neonatologist for a 6-month temporary position in University Maternity Hospital Limerick.

  • Provide high-quality neonatal care through collaboration with healthcare professionals.
  • Lead the multidisciplinary team, ensuring effective workflow and teamwork.
  • Collaborate with medical teams to develop treatment plans.


This role requires registration as a specialist in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert clinical leadership in the neonatal unit.
  • Maintain strong relationships with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
