Job Title: Assembly Technician

This is an exciting opportunity to join our manufacturing team as an assembly technician. In this role, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day production duties in a clean-room environment to manufacture medical device products.

  • Assemble or re-work product, screen product, and pack product.
  • Ensure quality standards are met by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standard Work Instructions (SWIs).
  • Maintain compliance with environmental, health, and safety requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Consistently achieve targets as notified by the shift supervisor/team leader.
  • Identify process improvements and participate in improvement projects.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures as notified.

Requirements:

  • A leaving certificate or equivalent qualification, or relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, is required.
  • An understanding or experience of GMP environment and regulations is preferred.
  • Experience of assembly preferably in the healthcare or electronics industry where precision placement and attention to detail is required is desirable.
  • A commitment to continuous improvements with the initiative and ability to improve work processes.

  • Able to take direction from Team Leader/Supervisor.
  • Motivated and enthusiastic individual.
  • Experience of working as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated quality approach to work.
  • Excellent work ethic and good attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and a sufficient level of spoken and written English to carry out the duties of the role.
