Project Management Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead and manage engineering projects from concept to completion in consultation with the client team. The successful applicant will be based full time in one of our offices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage engineering projects from concept to completion in consultation with the client team, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Act on behalf of the client as the primary contact between the client and the various engineering delivery teams and consultants.
  • Coordinate project activities, allocate resources, and manage project timelines.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and comply with industry regulations and organisational policies.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to clients and senior management.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and progress reports.
  • Assist in the development of Funding Applications to the government bodies.
Requirements:
  • Experience in project management experience, preferably in an engineering or consulting environment.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project/Construction Management, Climate & Environmental Sustainability, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera and MS Office Suite).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, consulting engineers and architects, client's team members, and stakeholders.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Knowledge of construction health and safety, including roles and responsibilities of appointed duty holders.
