The Clinical Nurse Manager II is a key role in the Endoscopy Department at Beaumont Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of waiting list information and identifying patients who are no longer requiring treatment.
About the Role- Validate patient data to ensure accuracy and up-to-date information
- Remove patients from the waiting list who are no longer requiring treatment
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement pathways of care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Clinical Validation: Conduct thorough reviews of patient records to identify those who are no longer requiring endoscopy procedures
- Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information, including validation statistics and invoices
- Pathway Development: Collaborate with the MDT to develop and implement pathways of care for patients undergoing endoscopy procedures
- Patient Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
- 5 years' post-registration experience in a related field
- 2 years' experience in the specialty or related area
- Clinical, managerial, and administrative capacity to discharge the functions of the role
- Annual registration on the relevant division of the Register of Nurses and Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
