Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Symfony Engineer to join our development team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to leverage their expertise in PHP and Symfony framework to contribute to the development of multiple proprietary RegTech software solutions.

Our ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience working with PHP, especially with Symfony framework, and Agile/Scrum development environments. They should also have knowledge of microservice architecture and apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SOLID principles effectively in application development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a dynamic development team to advance PHP application development and contribute to evolving software architecture.
  • Develop new software modules across the full technology stack, translating business process specifications into effective code solutions.
  • Resolve bug fix tickets and liaise with superusers to gather and define requirements for new features.
  • Demonstrate awareness of security risks and implement appropriate solutions to safeguard applications.

Qualifications and Skills
  • At least 4 years of experience working with PHP, especially with Symfony framework, and Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Knowledge of microservice architecture and ability to apply OOP and SOLID principles effectively in application development.
  • Familiarity with relational databases and exposure to NoSQL databases, caching systems, and queueing systems like RabbitMQ.
  • Proficiency with CI tools and IDEs such as Bitbucket and Jira.
