Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Limerick. This is a permanent role that offers excellent opportunities for career development, supported by a structured mentoring system.

About the Role

As part of our close-knit team, you will work on a broad range of projects across multiple sectors, including Healthcare, Residential, Education, Commercial, and Industrial. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Delivering various projects from concept to completion in conjunction with the wider team.
  2. Designing mechanical services for a range of projects, ensuring adherence to all relevant guidelines, regulations, and standards.
  3. Leading and mentoring a team of Junior Engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
  4. Engaging directly with clients, representing us in client-facing roles.
  5. Managing multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 5 years' post-graduate experience in Mechanical Engineering/Building Services.
  • A Level 8/9 degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering/Building Services with a strong background in design engineering.
  • Experience in designing mechanical services for Healthcare, Residential, Education, Commercial, and Industrial projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit MEP and Building Services Design Software.
  • Strong knowledge of Energy-Efficient Design and renewable energy solutions.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
