Senior Structural Engineer Job Opportunity
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the preparation of project-related design and management within a team of project technicians and junior engineers.
You will liaison with local authorities and other engineers, as well as design teams and building contractors. Your responsibilities will also include reviewing and checking all projects-related drawings and correspondence prior to issue, undertaking site inspections and buildings appraisals, and ensuring ISO 9000 quality procedures are being implemented fully on projects.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage several priorities at once and work efficiently in a team environment. A high level of commitment to success is essential, as is minimum 5-7 years' experience of educational, commercial, retail and residential projects within a consulting engineering practice environment.
Requirements- Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Level 8) standard or higher
- Chartered with IStructE or Engineers Ireland
- Minimum 5-7 years' experience in a consulting engineering practice environment
