Electronics Expert Sought

We are searching for an Electronics Expert to join our team in Galway. This is a 12-month onsite contract.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop electrical product requirements from system-based requirements and ensure they meet global regulatory standards.
  • Conduct electrical design, review outputs and characterize results using DFSS techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to root cause design issues, create test suites and verify electrical product designs.
  • Characterize and analyze product performance, validate test environments and ensure integration between electrical hardware and firmware.
  • Verify electrical product requirements through documentation and testing, and interface with certified test houses for verification and certification.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in Electrical Product Development in medical devices.
  • Design and test devices in a regulated environment including safety standards, and have electrical engineering skills to design, develop and debug analog and digital circuitry, custom batteries and motor control systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, preferably Electrical or Computer Engineering.
Nice to Have
  • BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering, experience with verification and validation of medical devices, automated test bench development, and hardware and firmware integration expertise.
