Support Worker for Independent Living

Job Overview
The role of a Support Worker for Independent Living is to assist individuals with daily living tasks, promoting their independence and well-being. This position requires a strong understanding of health and social care principles, as well as excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide personal care support and assistance with daily living tasks, ensuring the safety and dignity of service users at all times.
- To develop and implement individualized community support services, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each client.
- To maintain accurate records and documentation, updating information as necessary and completing relevant paperwork.
Requirements
- A minimum QQI Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is highly desirable.
- At least 2 years' experience working with people with disabilities is essential.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to self-direct are required.
- A full, clean driving license and access to a car for business purposes are necessary.
