Job Title: Senior Procurement Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Senior Procurement Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify procurement needs and develop strategic solutions.
  • Create Request for Tenders (RFTs) and Tender Response Documents (TRDs) that align with our organisational objectives.
  • Manage budgets effectively to ensure successful delivery of procurement programmes within set parameters.
  • Nurture strong working relationships with stakeholders, including local authorities and external agencies, to drive coordinated procurement initiatives.
  • Prepare and present reports and presentations to various boards and stakeholder groups.
  • Represent our organisation at meetings and events as required.
  • Ensure that procurement policies and procedures are up-to-date and aligned with best practices.
  • Lead multiple procurement projects concurrently, delivering results on time and within scope.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of public procurement legislation and guidelines.
  • Experience in developing and publishing single-party frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Office of Government Procurement (OGP) frameworks.
  • Experience using the eTenders platform.
  • Proven track record in managing and implementing Dynamic Purchasing Systems (DPS).
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Previous experience in an ICT technical role is advantageous.
