About the Role

The Senior Finance Analyst will be responsible for ownership of revenue close processes, reporting in multiple legal entities across EMEA. This includes preparation and review of journals, analytical review of monthly results and account reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ownership of revenue close processes with responsibility for reporting in multiple legal entities across EMEA.
  • Identifying and driving process improvements and automation to reduce manual effort.
  • Demonstrating strong technical accounting acumen to conclude on accounting treatment of new product launches, projects and complex transactions.
  • Business partnering with Tax, Legal and AWS Expansion teams.
  • Collaborating with global Accounting teams to identify opportunities for standardization.
  • Participating in preparation and review of statutory financial statements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Significant experience with financial reporting and audit, preferably gained within a Big Four firm.
  2. Knowledge of IFRS or other accounting frameworks.
  3. University degree in Accounting or Finance.
  4. Accounting professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA).
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are desirable:

  1. Technical competency in excel.
  2. Knowledge of other accounting solutions.
  3. SQL/Alteryx & Oracle.
