Fabrication Specialist

Job Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled fabrication specialist to join our team in County Westmeath.

The ideal candidate will have a certified welding qualification and previous experience in a manufacturing environment.

As a welder/fabricator, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications, planning fabrication and welding tasks, setting up and operating welding equipment safely and efficiently, cutting, grinding, and preparing metal components for assembly.

You will perform various fabrication processes, including welding components using manual or semi-automatic processes in different positions, inspecting and testing finished welds to ensure structural integrity and quality standards.

Additionally, you will repair and maintain production equipment and components as required, maintaining a safe, clean, and organized working environment.

• Strong knowledge of different metals and their properties
• Skilled in using fabrication tools including grinders, saws, drills, and plasma cutters
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
• Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work independently
