Irish Social Enterprise Network (ISEN) is a leading organisation in the Irish social economy. We are dedicated to fostering innovation, creating positive social impact, and promoting a more inclusive and sustainable future for all.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and facilitate board meetings to ensure effective decision-making and governance
  • Oversee the development and implementation of ISEN's strategic plan
  • Act as a liaison between the board and CEO to ensure alignment on goals and priorities
  • Support the development and review of organisational policies and procedures
  • Represent ISEN at public events and meetings to promote the organisation's mission and values
  • Ensure compliance with governance requirements and legislation
Requirements
  1. Proven leadership skills and experience in chairing meetings or leading teams
  2. The ability to facilitate strategic and management decisions at Board level
  3. A commitment to the time necessary to carry out the role effectively
  4. An understanding of the needs and workings of a small non-profit
