We are seeking an experienced Technical Artist to join our team. As a key member of our Art and Engineering teams, you will play a vital role in developing and maintaining technologies and art workflows.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and 3D graphics, with expertise in C#/.NET and experience with Maya, Substance Painter/Designer, Photoshop, and Perforce.

You will collaborate closely with our Art and Engineering teams to drive research and identify new workflows and technologies, as well as solve complex technical issues related to rigs, animations, hair and cloth simulations, and performance capture.

In this role, you will also mentor junior technical artists, establish and implement naming conventions within assets, tools, and workflows, and partner with engineering teams to ensure build stability and memory/performance budgets are maintained.

Key qualifications include:

  • 5+ years of experience in the games, film, or animation industries
  • Proficiency in C#/C++ and experience with Maya
  • Familiarity with Python and MEL Script/Maya API
  • Experience with cloth and rigid/soft body physics setup for characters, including collision volumes
  • Strong understanding of gaming platform limitations and advantages
