Job Title: Maintenance Operative

Our organization is seeking a reliable and proactive Maintenance Operative to support the smooth operation of our facilities and services.

As a key member of our team, you will perform routine and reactive maintenance tasks across various locations. You will use industry-standard systems to log and complete maintenance jobs efficiently, conduct regular safety checks, and assist service engineers when on site. Additionally, you will maintain adequate stock of essential maintenance supplies, record monthly utilities, and ensure compliance with health & safety, fire, hygiene, and security procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and reactive maintenance tasks.
  • Use Snapfix system to log and complete maintenance jobs.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly safety checks.
  • Assist service engineers and liaise with management.
  • Maintain essential maintenance supplies and utilities records.
  • Ensure health & safety, fire, hygiene, and security procedures are followed.


Requirements for Success:
  • Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities role (hotel or similar environment preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrics, and general repairs an advantage.
  • A practical problem-solver with a 'can-do' attitude and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to support other departments and occasional additional duties when required.
