As a senior professional, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with the Quality Manager to provide support on day-to-day tasks.

Responsibilities
  • You will create and update various reports as requested by the Quality Manager.
  • Manage the Internal and External OFI.
  • Support the Quality Manager in leading and hosting BSI and Customer audits.
  • Work with the Management Team and Operations Teams to set up continuous improvement actions.
  • Progress chase CAPA's, OFI's.
  • Manage the internal audit system.
  • Provide support and manage the calibration system as appropriate.
  • Manage the Supplier complaint system in Q-Pulse, providing metrics as required.
  • Investigate customer daily queries.
  • Make informed decisions on quality in the absence of the Quality Manager.
  • Attend Site Quality Meetings - produce minutes.
  • Facilitate Continuous Improvement Teams - Including RCA tools.
  • Support the Quality Manager in managing the internal CAPA system.
  • Manage and log annual leave and hours worked for QC team as requested by the Quality Manager.
  • Develop leadership skills through the support and mentoring of the Quality Manager.
Quality System
  • All functions must be carried out in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 quality management standard requirements with reference to the site's Quality Policy, Policy Manual & relevant Works Instructions.
  • Work with the Quality Manager to ensure that all aspects of PS9000 are integrated into the Quality system.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Quality role at a senior supervisor or entry management level.
  • Working knowledge of the relevant accredited standards (not essential).
  • Experience in a manufacturing/production environment ideally with experience and knowledge of industry standards and guidelines.
  • Demonstrable experience of change management.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.
  • Customer relations skills.
  • Skilled in information handling, analysis, and presentation.
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office packages.
