  • Support platform engineering partners and application development teams in troubleshooting, provisioning, and maintaining enterprise infrastructure.
  • Deploy, maintain, and optimize network infrastructure in Azure, AWS, and managed Colo.
  • Configure and manage virtual networks and subnets, including IP addressing, routing, firewall rules, and load balancing.
  • Maintain a network topology through IPAM, providing integration testing among development teams while remaining flexible for additional environments as merger and acquisition requires.
  • Implement Direct Connect, Express Route, and VPN technologies to establish secure, reliable, and resilient connections.
  • Work closely with Security and Compliance to ensure security framework adherence.
  • Enable development teams to focus on delivering business value quickly and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience with infrastructure management or platform engineering experience.
  • Experience in automation, networking, and general IT infrastructure.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud computing and network technologies.
  • The drive to bring clarity to vague situations, a desire to constantly expand your skills, and the ability to work closely with a team solving complex problems.
  • Communication skills and the ability to describe complex problems to non-technical staff.
  • Competency with the following technologies: Network security, NextGen FW, VPN; Automation: Ansible Automation Platform, Terraform, Git(hub/lab); Curiosity, adaptability, and flexibility needed to navigate a growing enterprise.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Deep knowledge of cloud services, containerization, and/or Kubernetes.
  • Experience migrating, connecting, and securing disparate environments.
