We are seeking experienced professionals to lead our childcare team in a dynamic and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a high level of responsibility and accountability. As a lead educator, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality care and education for young children, maintaining safe and stimulating environments, and supporting the development of staff members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the childcare team in delivering high-quality care and education
  • Maintain safe and stimulating environments for young children
  • Support the development of staff members
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum FETAC/QQI level 6 in Early Childhood Care and Education or equivalent DCEDIY-approved certification
  • QQI level 7 or 8 in Early Childhood Care and Education would be desirable
  • Strong passion for the needs and development of individual children
  • Knowledge of child development
  • Good communication skills
